Describe Sal: Salamonaca Tree Hiddle is a girl who moved from Kentucky. Her mom left her and her father a few years ago. She has long black hair. She goes to a school, and in the first week everybody asked her a lot of questions about her hair like, "How do you wash it?" Mr. Birkway is her teacher, Ben is a boy who prabably likes her, and Margaret Cadaver is a creepy lady who probably likes Sal's father.
Describe Phoebe: Phoebe Winterbottom is a girl with a wild imagination. She convinced Sal that Mrs. Cadaver is evil. Her mother left, and left notes saying that she would be back in a few days. Phoebe always worries about everything and sometimes she respect her mother. Her sister, Prudence, doesn't respect their mother a lot either. Although Phoebe's family is very polite!
How are they alike? Sal and Phoebe think some of the same thoughts, but some are completely different! Both of their moms left. They live pretty close to eachother and they both play with Mary Lou. They are not very alike, but they are still really gould friends.
How are they different? Sal dosn't have a wild and huge imajination like Phoebe does. Even though both of their moms left I know that Sal's mom wasn't coming back, but Phoebe's mother said in a letter that she was coming back. Phoebe has been really quiet since her mom left, and won't talk to anyone, but Sal. Even though Sal's mom left Sal still talks, only she lies when people bring up her mom. Sal and Phoebe are more different than ulike, but somehow manage to be best friends.
